What would happen if you told a police officer you were thinking about drinking and driving?

Just for the record I don’t drink at all. I just wanted to know what a police officer would tell a individual that came up to him outside a police station and asked him that question. I don’t approve drinking and driving at all. I just wanted to know what a police officer would say or do. I appologize if i offended anyone by this question.

    technically nothing would happen. I would hope the officer would talk to you about the dangers of impaired driving. I know I would.

    The police officer would probably just warn him of the person asking has committed no.

    The cops cant do it seriously do anything if thinking about to do it seriously do anything if they can keep close eye on.

    Cool I’ve seen this happen back in Texas ! They will wait and tell you to go away if you were already drinking let you put your key in the ignition then just walk up to you and arrest you for D.U.I ..
