How do police know who to arrest in a domestic dispute involving lesbians?
Seeing as domestic violence between lesbians is vastly more common than domestic violence between heterosexual couples and seeing as (according to feminists) domestic violence is either:
1) 99% committed by men, so basically the police should arrest the man.
or:
2) Self defence by the woman and in any case the violence occured in a context of invisible “patriarchal oppression” so she was defending herself even if she, unprovoked fired a handgun at his groin and so the man should be arrested as he must have somehow started it.
How do the police know who to arrest if both parties are women?
Oh, BTW both no. 1 and no. 2 are proven false:
No.1 by: 196 scholarly investigations: 153 empirical studies and 43 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners.
http://www.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm
And no. 2 by dozens of academic studies, eg:
http://www.ncfmla.org/dv_data.html
But hey, doesn’t stop police from accepting radical feminists as experts on domestic violence, so the question stands.
Diedre I can’t help but notice you’ve decided that close to 200 academic studies producing the same statistics are false.
We only need to look to the amount of violence by women on men in television commercials to see how blindly accepted it is.
Or rather.. they “must” be false because you “know” that they are. Let’s face it most feminists can’t accept the truth even when it is plain as day infront of their noses. Reassessing the fantasy world they have dreamed up where all their inadequacies have been explained away by their eternal victimhood would be too difficult.
And these people are influencing public policy.
jonmcn:
A good reason for my “ideological ax” would *be* the fact that studies such as these show that women are just as violent as men, yet men are far more represented in prison statistics for domestic violence.
As for your murder rate claim, I suggest you look at this consequence of blaming men for domestic violence:
http://www.angryharry.com/esonlywomenare…
The rate of women murdering their husbands dropped since men started being blamed because they have easy legal recourse, men do not, so the murder rate remained the same. Frankly those murders put blood on the hands of the feminists involved in the DV movement.
jonmcn: The arrest rates are obviously tainted if the reasons for arrests are based on information that is false. Geezus. Think about it. That’s what I don’t like.
Brute reality:
Here, v.i.d.e.o. e.v.i.d.e.n.c.e.:

wendy_g, wording is gender neutral hey?
Guess what? Original research:
Just skimming the act at the Thomas website I can come up with:
SEC. 206. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION, EDUCATION, AND AWARENESS.
(1) Nearly one-third of American women report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives.
SEC. 702. FINDINGS.
Congress finds the following:
(1) Violence against women has been reported to be the leading cause of physical injury to women. Such violence has a devastating impact on women’s physical and emotional health, financial security, and ability to maintain their jobs, and thus impacts interstate commerce.
“HER”? “WOMEN”?
`SEC. 41305. ENGAGING MEN AND YOUTH IN PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DATING VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND STALKING…
by helping them to develop mutually respectful, nonviolent relationships.
“MEN”?
Caught you lying.
The only one of those sites that says where the stats came from is the last one, and they came from arrest statistics again. Already explained as tainted.
I’m counting three sites there Judas Goat. I have four. One is a bibliography with 196 references. Come up with more than 196 and we’ll talk.
Feminists have hijacked the issue, so of course there will be conflicting data from tainted sources all over the place… LOL.
